They came over the next day after we called. During the first visit they listened to us and learned about our goals. Within a few days they provided a few designs that looked great. We made a few suggestions, and they provided more ideas. Collaboration was excellent. After we settled upon on a design, they provided an amazing video of the project incorporating all our thoughts and ideas. The video, collaboration and their passion sold us immediately. I have never seen a better Hardscaping team in the business. You rarely find owners working on your project from start to finish which was a differentiator to us. The project took a few months but was much quicker than I expected with effort required. Most weeks we had discussions with them often fine-tuning certain items. They were always supportive, flexible and stuck to their word. Ultimately, they turned our background into an amazing layout for us to enjoy with our friends and family. The retaining walls, patio with fire pit, putting green and lighting were all fantastic. I will definitely use Prairie Winds Hardscapes again I would absolutely recommend Eddie and Cory if you want high quality and hardscaping done at your house. Ultimately, they were A1!
The work these guys do is exceptional! Quality matters to them and it definitely shows. Eddie also took the time to explain why and how they were doing the things they did. Excellent quality work with very professional overtones. I hired them to do a commercial job and it came out perfectly and on time. So often its hard to find a company in this line of work that fulfills its promises, but they went above and beyond in my book. Great company to work with from start to finish. Which we all know is hard to find these days. Called for an estimate, they did a great job listening to what I wanted. They where very friendly. Came out the next day and walked the job. I had an estimate less than 24 hours later. The bid was very competitive. After looking at their website we knew this was the right choice. Ed was very informative through the whole process. They showed up when promised, very professional looking. They were respectful of the jobsite and my neighbors. Their work really looks like the website pictures. Very, very nice. They cleaned up after themselves and followed up a few days later with a call just checking how it went and any concerns I might have. I will definitely use Prairie Winds Hardscapes again and I recommend using them if you want a quality, no nonsense contractor.

Wow, what a great job. They were fast, communicative, and clearly cared about getting every detail right. They went above and beyond throughout the project, including recommending and adding a drain I hadn’t even asked for because they thought it would improve the overall look of the house. I’ve dealt with companies that didn’t even call utilities before digging, so this was a refreshing change. Not only did they call utilities properly, they also made sure every utility flag was picked up when the work was done. The retaining wall looks great, the process was smooth, and I’d absolutely recommend them.

We did a lot of research before getting quotes. Leaving our first meeting with Eddie and Cory, we knew they're who we wanted for the job. Their knowledge, design sense, quality materials, and especially their patience with us was superb. They kept us updated leading up to the job's start and throughout. Seeing what they removed of our old retaining walls (separating from the house) versus what they put in, there's no comparison. We're confident the walls and patio -- both of which have received many compliments, today's from the mailman(!) -- will look decades from today much as they do now. Quality. Beauty. Trust.
